The kids were super excited about the neighbor boy’s birthday
party on Saturday… and thankfully we were able to get directions to go to it
since it was a pool party. It was nice
to get out of the house and allow the kids to enjoy playing in the pool.

The next day their parents came home and our time in Texas was coming to a close quickly. I will definitely miss my nieces and nephews… it is hard being so far away from them and having them grow up at a distance… but I pray that God continues to work in their lives and draw them closer to Him.
Some of my favorites moments were spending time just talking with Seth who was very curious about everything… playing cars with Israel… the dart gun fight that we all got into together… just watching the kids laugh and have fun together. As hard as it was to say goodbye, Matthew and I were very ready to head home after being away for three weeks. The kids of course were excited to have their parents home and enjoy their souvenirs from New York.
