Once we got back from Argentina we jumped back into
ministry with the youth. We both love
youth ministry and were excited to reconnect with this amazing group of
youth. Of course, we also miss Shane
which at times makes youth ministry bittersweet. God is good though and He will guide us
through this time in our life as we seek to lead the youth to Christ.
Our first youth activity was a Sunday night across the
street. Summer Sundays was always a
favorite as the kids spend the first hour playing non-structured games. This gave me the opportunity to visit
one-on-one with some of the youth.
Afterwards, they play group games and then divide up into smaller groups
for a discussion time.

Living back in the area gave us the opportunity to go to
a Wednesday evening barbecue. It was
another casual night in which the youth were able to hang out for the first
hour or so before we had a barbecue dinner and group discussion.
