It is hard to believe that James is married… my nieces and nephews are
growing up so fast. James is the second
one to get married. Both him and his bride Maggie graduated from college this
year and the week before their wedding they moved into their new house. It is such an exciting time of life for them,
and I am so excited for what the future holds for them. It has been so much fun to watch James grow
and mature throughout the years. He has
grown into a young man that loves the Lord, loves his family, and works
hard. He is going to make an amazing
husband to Maggie.
Their wedding was very unique and a lot of fun. Maggie has always wanted to get married at
the Frick’s farm, where she grew up. They
put a lot of work into fixing up the farm and making it beautiful for their
special day. I loved the unique features
of the wedding… such as driving up in sports cars, ice cream floats instead of
cake, a toast about the first day they met (in the church nursery when they
were 2ish), watching them dance (as they both love it), and the surprise dance
that was performed for them. I love that
James’ mentor (and Maggie’s brother-in-law) William was able to perform the
ceremony and how colorful the wedding party was. You could see the excitement on James’ face
as he waited for Maggie to walk up the aisle and the joy that exuded from both of
them all day long.
Congratulations James and Maggie… enjoy each stage of life… and keep
walking closely with God…!
