We were lucky to be in town to celebrate Valentino’s
birthday. I still remember when I found out that Soledad
was pregnant with Valentino and the phone call when she was still in the hospital
after he was born. It is crazy how
quickly time has passed… I even made a special trip to Argentina to meet him
and to attend Soledad and Maxi’s wedding.
Valentino is definitely a very special boy… with a heart for
Christ.
Celebrating his birthday was an all day ordeal. They made him a special breakfast in bed and
then came over to the house for lunch with everyone… which consisted of homemade
empanadas, pizza and chorizo. After
lunch we headed to the church for the children’s program where they also had a
small party in his honor.

It was a long day so by the evening I decided to take a
nap. Unfortunately by the time I woke up
everyone had left for the church and I didn't have any way to get there so I
stayed back at the house and visited with those who weren't going.
