Argentine’s are a passionate people… and two of the
things they are very passionate about are football and food… especially
asado. An asado is just like an American
barbeque but only better. J On Wednesday not only were we able to enjoy
another Argentine soccer game but we were able to enjoy it in Argentina and eat
two asados in one day. Watching the
world cup soccer games in Argentina was just as exciting as watching the Super
Bowl… every game. We groaned, we
cheered, we ate and we celebrated when they once again won the game.
All dressed up for the game... with Maria

In the evening we went over to visit some really good
friends; Abel and Julieta. Ever since my
first trip to Argentina they have been some of my closest friends in Argentina
and Matthew really hit it off with them when we went down for our honeymoon… so
going to their house for an asado was a must.
It is crazy to see how much their children have grown over the years. Time with them always includes an encouraging
conversation about Christ, really good food, and mate (Argentina tea).
