A Day at the Beach - Day 6

Once again I was able to sleep in a bit on Sunday… or at least didn’t wake up until about 8:30 which was WONDERFUL. After spending some time in the Word we packed up the car and headed out to the beach for the day. It was the PERFECT day to go to the beach… sunny yet not too hot and there was no one there so we pretty much had it to ourselves. Of course we camped out near the life guard tower just to be safe as the under current was pretty strong. We spent all afternoon hanging out, playing in the sand and walking the beach which was beautiful.

That evening I went back to Dawn and John’s to get cleaned up, eat dinner and a quick visit to David and Lisa’s house. (She is expecting a child so they were preparing to go to the hospital… we are anxiously awaiting the birth so that we can meet the new one before heading home..!) We then headed back to the house for desert and a movie.
