Sunday… A day to relax..!

The day after the wedding was planned as a day to relax.  We had no set plans for the day which was really nice.   Matthew usually hits a brick wall after two days so he spent most of the day in bed doing just that… relaxing and recovering.  After sleeping in and recovering from my migraine, I got up and ate some breakfast.

Since it was raining outside most of us decided to head over to a local plantation museum.  It was very interesting not only learning about how the plantation ran but also learning about the history of Haiti and how the people fought for their freedom.

After the tour we found out the tour guide was a Christian.  We were able to continue to wander around the plantation.  Most people bought something from the gift shop but everyone ended up with a souvenir, a painted rock from Haiti.  This was the perfect outing for the day…
