After lunch Mariah and I spent the afternoon with Sarah getting
her ready for the wedding. This of course
left the boys to themselves. Mariah and
I had to remind Matthew and German to be safe and make it to the wedding on
time. They were having way too much fun
together… which made me happy.
The bridal room was absolutely perfect with an amazing
view. The resort went all out in making
everything perfect for this special day.
They provided an array of food and drinks for us to enjoy as we prepared.

Nate, the official wedding photographer, came to take pictures
at the beginning of the session and then again at the end. I on the other hand got to stay and take
pictures throughout the entire process.
We spend hours joking and laughing to keep Sarah’s nerves at bay. She was more nervous about getting ready on
time then she was about getting married.
Of course, we reminded her that the wedding would not start without her…
and that no one was concerned about what time it actually started. I mean… we were at a wedding on a beach in
Haiti… it was absolutely beautiful… the day was going to be perfect.

My goal for this afternoon was to capture every moment through
pictures… I knew that Sarah would want these memories later on… I of course
also enjoyed spending this time with the girls.
We found out that the banana bread was absolutely delicious so I made
sure to feed Sarah a piece as she got ready. Looking back I think Mariah needed a little
help herself…
The food spread was amazing...

Mariah... perfect match..!
Towards the end of the afternoon, joined us. She was given the honorary
role of “Mother of the bride” and took this role very serious. She started her time with us praying over Sarah
and her upcoming marriage. She then made
sure that Sarah was drinking water so she would be prepared for the ceremony. She also joined me in helping calm her nerves
about being on time.

Finishing touches...
Of course, everything came together and Sarah was finally ready
to meet Chris at the altar. Before
heading out of the room, we took time to pray as a group. This was one of my favorite parts of the entire
process… and no one cried… right Mariah?
Sarah was absolutely beautiful… Gloria, the wedding coordinator was
there to make sure we all made it to the ceremony location quickly. We were only a little later then expected…
but according to the photographer the lighting was perfect for the ceremony so
it was just the right time.
Beautiful Bride..!
