We got in one last trip
before I started back to work. We decided
to sneak away for the weekend and visit our friends over in Poulsbo. This was
the first time we have been to their house that I have not spent the majority
of the time working on homework. Howard
and Linda have been a big part of our lives the last couple years and it is
always relaxing to spend time with them. Of course, on Friday night we enjoyed watching
the Seahawks game together.

When we went last
December we were going to go to Hurricane Ridge… in fact we were miles from the
top when we had to turn back for an emergency for a friend. We decided to try again and it was a
success. Matthew promised that he would
take me at least once but we never seemed to make it even when we lived on that
side of the water. The only bummer was that
it was a bit cloudy but the weather held up and it didn’t rain the whole time
we were walking around.

Saturday evening we
ended up going to the casino for an all-you-can eat buffet to celebrate my
graduation. I filled up on crab legs, salmon, and shrimp. Matthew enjoyed the prime rib for
dinner. We stayed and played a few games
before going back to the house and relaxing in the hot tub like we do every
night. It was a quick trip but a great way to end the summer.
