What a month this has been… my quiet times in the morning have
been amazing. God is taking me on a
journey in which I have had to come face to face with the fact that I have been
spending too much time complaining and not enough time being grateful for
everything He has done for me. He is
changing my focus from being on the trials to who He is and all of the
blessings He has poured out on me. It
doesn’t take away the trials but it does change my perspective. My heart is
being molded… I have had to seek forgiveness from God for my past mistakes and
outright sins. I know that this journey
He has me on is far from over but I wouldn’t change it for anything.
If you know me than you know that my favorite thing about fall
is football… not only because I LOVE the game… I am a diehard fan of both the
Huskies and the Seahawks… but also because it means more time with friends and
family. I started the month being able
to hang out with Cassie Camerer at a Husky game… it was a lot of fun catching
up with her. I ended the month with
watching the Huskies win the Apple Cup with my family. What a victory we had… now we just need the
Seahawks to win on Sunday.
Enjoying the game with Cassie...
Of course with the Holiday season comes yummy food. At work we had a feast with the staff and
students which is always a big hit and results in leftovers for the next couple
days. That didn’t stop me from enjoying
Thanksgiving dinner and leftover turkey sandwiches and soup.
Since I am choosing to focus on the good things that pretty much
sums up the month of November… Thank you Lord, that no matter how much Satan
throws our way… Your blessings are more numerous.
