Matthew and I had the opportunity to take three weeks to travel
down south. We flew into Dallas and
rented a car… this took longer than expected as the place we originally rented
from was a disaster so we decided to transfer to a more reputable rental
company. We both felt peace with that
decision and were excited to start our trip to Florida.
Ready to Roll... after we prayed of course..!
Our goal was to drive straight through to Florida so we could
spend the weekend with Doug and Lora. Of
course, our first stop was to Inn n Out for lunch before hitting the road. We traded off driving and resting so we didn’t
have to stop overnight. I was excited as
we entered into Louisiana since it is one of the few states I have not visited. On the way over we just drove through but we
had time to tour it a little more on our way back to Texas.

One more state off my list...
We arrived in Jacksonville, Florida early in the afternoon and
both went straight to bed to get some rest before the in-laws got home from
work. On Friday, we spent the day relaxing
and visiting at the house. We were
excited to be able to get back down to Florida for another visit so
quickly.
