On Tuesday we decided to
go our separate ways for the day… though Matthew and I used it as a day to
relax and enjoy a quiet evening to ourselves.
He even made us a fancy steak dinner.
It was a nice quiet day at the condo which gave me the opportunity to do
my Bible study, catch up on sleep and enjoy time with my husband.
Mom and Dad went with Kim
and the girls to Universal Studios for the day.
They enjoyed the various rides and shows to see. Even though we didn't go with them it was
still fun to look at the pictures and hear their stories.

We sent Shane with Jimmy
and Karen to Legolands so he could enjoy the day with his cousins. Jeremy and Maria also went to Legoland but
unfortunately they didn't connect much throughout the day. Regardless, Shane had fun going on a couple
of the bigger rides and looking at all the Lego creations.

part of the whole trip was eating dinner at Inn & Out. James told him about the secret menu and he
fell in love with the Animal Burger which was pretty much everything put onto a
bun. James of course enjoyed the meal too
since he wasn’t up to eating when they did their late night stop on the drive
into California.

OK, I am LOVING reading thru all your California trip posts and looking thru all the pictures! But man alive, I am CRACKING UP at the one of Shane inside the little Lego Car!!! :-D That's just plain funny right there!
