Certificated Teacher – Starting my New Job..!

First day of wok as a Teacher..!

Before I knew it my summer vacation was over and I started training for my new job.  To say that the summer passed by quickly is an understatement… between taking classes at Central, going on vacation to Montana, going on the Serve Trip to Mexico and high school camp I only had about 1 ½ weeks of vacation. 

The first week I had training on how using IEP online.  The next week we were able to meet up at the new TOP building to plan and prepare for the upcoming school year.  I have had a blast getting to know my new co-workers and preparing for the year.

This week has been full of training, unpacking boxes, setting up classrooms and spending time with the para-educators. I have learned so much this summer… and am excited to get started with my new responsibilities as a teacher. Tomorrow we start with student visitations..!

I know that the next couple years are going to be busy learning the ropes of a transitional program, getting to know the staff and students at TOP, doing all the paperwork and taking Master’s classes all at the same time.  I know that God has led me down this path and that He will give me the strength to complete it all.
