One of the reasons we decided to take the trip to Montana
was so that we could go to my Grandmother’s birthday party in Spokane. It worked out perfect to combine the two
activities. Of course we were racing the
clock to get to my Aunt Judy’s house on time for lunch. This also gave Mirko and Natalia the
opportunity to meet more of my relatives.
It has been years since my Father’s family has gotten
together. We used to have reunions
during the summer but not in the past couple years… so most of my relatives I
hadn't seen since my wedding and even then I didn't have time to visit. I tried my best to balance my time between
visiting with my relatives and translating for Mirko and Natalia.
On Sunday we stayed long enough for me to visit my cousin
Kyla before heading home. Our vacation
was officially over as Shane had to return to school and I was going to start
my new job. Of course, that doesn't mean
that the fun was over as we still had a lot of memories to still make with
Natalia and Mirko.
