I love weddings… everything about them… but they are even more
special when they are for someone you love so dearly. What a joyous occasion it was to watch David
and Abby get married. They are a special
couple and I’ve loved watching them mature as a couple… do they have a perfect
relationship? Nope, they are human like the
rest of us… but what they do have is a desire to draw closer to God and a
commitment to one another… and that is what makes a marriage last.
So, although the road ahead may be bumpy… with the trials of
life. Today we got to celebrate love…! Of course, there were many tears… especially
during the ceremony and speeches but there was also laughter and joy as people danced
and enjoyed the delicious food.
David… welcome to the family.
Thank you for your desire to serve and protect our country… we will be
praying for you as you serve overseas… and continue to pray as you serve and
protect my sweet niece Abby for the rest of your life.
