May – There is a time for everything… including moving..!

Goodbye Home... our first home as a family..!

Matthew and I have been talking about moving back over to the Kent area since before we got married and we finally decided to do it.  Although it has been our prayer and desire for many years the final process was a very quick one.  We did not make this decision lightly but prayed about it, talked with friends and family about it and asked God to open and close doors accordingly.  Every door was wide open and we were able to move everything out quickly and enjoy time with friends during the process.

Thankfully, we have great friends and family members that were able to help us out on such short notice.  Even my nephew Jonathan helped Matthew carry in the mattress (and I use the word help very loosely…)   We have complete peace about our decision but that does not make the pain that goes along with it any easier.  The pain is still here… but we do look forward to what God is planning for our future.  We are looking forward to being close to our support system.  We are excited about how we can get more involved in ministry.

So, where are we living..?  That is still undecided.  We don’t have any definite plans for the future; Other than spending a couple weeks in Argentina.  Currently all of our belongings are stored at my Parent’s house.  A friend has graciously opened her doors for us to stay with her during the work week so I can finish out the year at Bremerton High School.  When we return from Argentina I am hoping to get a job working for the Kent School District; since openings are usually posted in August or after the start of the school year.  We will then also find a place to live.  So, that being said we moved into the unknown… but with lots of possibilities.  Our continued prayer is for God to continue to lead the way..!

We donated our little couch to our neighbors... the boys love it..!

Cory helped us fix the hole in the wall... and many other things..!

Doug came down to help move the big stuff..!

Even Abby the Dog joined in the moving fun..!

Garit was the official "shrink wrap boy"

Wes and Jonathan came over to help for the afternoon..!

Garit ready with the first load of belongings..!

The crew that helped in Port Orchard... my family was waiting on the other side..!

Garit was excited that we were almost done..!

Great friends we are excited to spend more time with now that we live closer..!
