We had a great time worshiping God at church this
morning before heading over to my parents for an Easter morning brunch and
Easter egg hunt for the children.
Thankfully the weather cooperated for us to hide the eggs outside and
once again we barely found all the eggs that were hidden.
Of course we also took advantage of the gathering to take
family pictures and pictures of all the “grandchildren”. The food was delicious as always and we had a
great time visiting.
Today my heart is drawn towards praying for those who do
not know Christ or who are living in rebellion to the truth. I was reminded that the cross is foolishness
to the lost… I cannot comprehend why they don’t want the gift of grace offered
on the cross but that is because I know the beauty and power that is found only
in Christ. I am living with His peace,
joy and love on a daily basis. Lord,
open the eyes that are darkened to your truth… touch the hearts of those who
are trying to do it on their own… Lord, open the hearts of my friends and
family members that need to know the saving grace that is only found in You..!
