Although the morning was filled with doctor appointments
we were still able to get away for the evening.
As soon as we could we headed east since we had to be in Spokane for the
weekend. The drive was absolutely
beautiful as usual.
I wanted to do something special to celebrate so we
decided go to Palouse Falls. Since we
weren't going to get there in time to enjoy the falls before the park closed we
decided to stay the night at a hotel along the way. I enjoyed watching the sunset as we checked
into the hotel and then headed to a local Mexican restaurant for dinner. One of my favorite parts about dinner was
listening to Spanish worship music as we ate.
Enjoying the beauty of the drive...
I love the sunset...
And visiting with my husband on the drive...
Two planes = Reminder of God's love for us..
The next morning we got up and ate breakfast quickly and
then headed out before the day was too hot.
The sun was still blazing when we got to the falls but we were able to
enjoy God’s beauty. I absolutely love
waterfalls so this made the event even that more special for me… not only were
we able to get away as a couple but we enjoyed one of my favorite creations of
God.
Afterwards, we continued our trip towards Spokane and
arrived at my Aunt and Uncle’s house before anyone else arrived… and in time to
watch the Seahawks game. What a perfect
ending to a wonderful day.
Palouse Falls...
Two of my favorites... my husband and waterfalls
